Say Cheeese!!

Im so ready for Genesis to take her 1st professional pictures but,right now just isn't the time *sigh*... I have ran across a couple of photographers that has done great work. I have some ideas but not really sure what i want, but without a doubt i wanted to be outside. The weather here is pretty cold so thats not going to happen! My little tot is growing so fast..i have to capture these precious moments.

My Mothers Story

Its a little after 5 o' clock and I havent had a wink of sleep. My mother called me around 2 am. She told me that she had gotten beat up by her boyfriend. This is not the first nor the second time he has done this! She told me that it started..well let me say this. First off he is VERYYY jealous where ever my mom works he has to work there as well, where ever she goes he follows.Okay yesterday she started her first day at wal-mart and he was upset every since he heard about the job because he didnt want her to work there because he didnt get hired. She came home and layed down about an hr later she was awaken by her boyfriend who was suppose to be at work/ He was hiding in the closet for about two hours trying to catch my mother doing something. He started an argument accusing my mom of cheating and things quickly escalated. She told me that he started choking her and punching her in the face, head, and ears which began to bleed. He told her "If I had of hit you one more time you would have been deaf in that ear" apparently bragging about what he had done.He drugged her in the bathroom to look at herself in the mirror. He told her that now no one will want her with a face like that. He then told my mom to take off her clothes he then tried to drown her..she fought back!! He began to beat her again..and again until she blacked out (she does not know how long) She gain conscienceness and he began arguing with her again! By this time she was in the bedroom she asked him could she go get some water..he said no..she asked could she go use the bathroom he told her to pee on herself. He told my mom that he killed peoople in the past and he will kill her. For some unknown reason he left but told my mom if she called the police he will kill her kids. He is now running from the police! He can't go to far on feet with $80. I must admit im scared for siblings and myself. I don't know if he is coming for us or not. Hopefully the police will catch him soon. Please pray for our family.

Today Was One of Those Days

19th Week Update

It's 9:43 am, Genesis is sleeping so I decided I would give an update on how everything is going. Genesis has gotten much better since my last post. She was very sick(ish)runny nose, watery eyes ect. I guess the humidifier was just what she needed. I really don't want her to get sick at least not for the first year.

I have started feeding her apple sauce and she loves it! The first time we tried it she didnt like it so much now she just gobbles it up! We also tried bananas but she didnt like that at all she kept spitting it out. It was the cutest thing see her little tongue push it out of her mouth :)I really was didn't like the texture either it was kind of thick like yogurt or something.






Genesis got her play gym yesterday and she likes it alot! It gives her something to do when Im trying to get things done around the house.

How To Catch A Runny Nose

My little snuggle muffin is sick. Yesterday I notice her breathing different and this morning I woke up to her coughing which almost turned into choking and a runny nose. When I put my ear to her little chest I can hear wheezing...my poor baby. I almost certain its allergies although it sounds like a cold. My husband went out to buy a humidifier hoping that will make her feel better. Her pediatrician thinks she will definitely benefit from it and so will we (my husband, jay and myself) since all three of us have allergies.

Now on too good news Genesis loves to grab, rub, and feel on things whether its a toy my lips,nose or my arms. Often when I hold her she rubs on my lips and nose and with my husband she rubs his arm. I think it is just adorable! And when she coos it like she is really trying to tell us something she babbles all the time now.

As far as sleeping goes there is still NO schedule atleast now one we can stick to she will go at 5:00pm sometimes 9:00 and wake up at 11pm then back to sleep around 2:00-2:30 and she will sleep till 2:00 pm the next day waking up maybe 2-3 times within that period to eat and I also change her and she does not wake up,cry nothing just peaceful sleeping.

When she turned 4 mths we tried to start her on solids and that was a no-no. She hated it! She frowned and made all these funny faces and quickly spit it out. I tried a couple of times but she wouldnt eat it. I will try again later probably next month. I was so excited about feeding her hopefully next time it will go much better.

Oh I forgot to mention she loves to bite on things now. She constantly has her hand her bib in her mouth. Im not sure if she is teething or not. She is such a slobber baby. My mother told me that my brother cut his firth tooth at 5 mnths. I will be looking out for those symptoms.

well im off to another adventure with Genesis :)
